Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of HLM Hialeah Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services.

Services Provided

HLM Hialeah Masonry provides masonry contractor services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, retaining walls, paver installation, stone veneer, and outdoor masonry construction. All services are subject to availability and acceptance by our company. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Service estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final costs may vary if additional work or materials are required due to unforeseen conditions discovered during the project.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your project estimate or contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. We accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and credit cards. All payments must be made in US dollars.

Late payments may be subject to additional fees. If payment is not received within 30 days of project completion, we reserve the right to place a lien on the property where services were performed, in accordance with Florida law.

Project Changes and Cancellations

Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be requested in writing and will be subject to additional charges. If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made after work has begun may result in charges for materials purchased and labor performed.

We reserve the right to delay or reschedule work due to weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to communicate any delays promptly.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms will be outlined in your project contract. Our workmanship warranty typically covers defects in installation for a specified period after project completion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by weather, normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others.

Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are subject to their terms and conditions. We will assist you with warranty claims when applicable.

Liability and Insurance

HLM Hialeah Masonry carries appropriate liability insurance and workers compensation coverage as required by Florida law. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your property during our work. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, or other items not visible during our initial inspection unless specifically noted in the contract.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our work or any delays in completing work.

Property Access and Safety

You agree to provide clear access to work areas and to secure any pets during our work hours. You are responsible for removing or protecting any valuable items in or near the work area. We will take reasonable care to protect your property, but we recommend that you remove or cover items of value.

For your safety and ours, please keep children and unauthorized persons away from the work area. Our crew follows OSHA safety guidelines and maintains a safe work environment.

Permits and Regulations

When required, we will obtain necessary permits for masonry work. Permit fees are typically included in your project estimate. You are responsible for ensuring that your project complies with any homeowner association rules or deed restrictions that may apply to your property.

All work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations in Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida.

Dispute Resolution

If any dispute arises regarding our services, we encourage open communication to resolve the issue. Most concerns can be addressed through direct discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal proceedings must be filed in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
